HIIT101 – May 10th (4 Weeks)

Have you every wanted to try one of our classes but been too nervous and overwhelmed to start? This program is just for you.

Over the course of 4 WEEKS, you and a small group of beginners will learn:

  1. The fundamentals of movement,
  2. Proper form with weight training,
  3.  How to BOX!

With two strength training and one boxing session a week. 

This program consisting of small group training allows you to work closely with a coach to master your form, strength, and confidence.

The program will run:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays 

6:30-7:00pm

“My story is typical of many people who struggle with weight loss. Since my late teens I have struggled with my weight, yo-yo dieting which would always result in more weight gain.
Finally, in February of 2020 I hit my breaking point with my weight and self confidence. I knew I had to make a change. I was having a hard time keeping up with my toddler and my 8 and 12-year-old were modelling my sedentary lifestyle. It was at this time that I noticed Cheryl’s ad for her HIIT 101 class.
Just what I need, a beginner’s class where I can familiarize myself with the routines and equipment of the gym without feeling intimidated. I signed up, was full of motivation and then “bam” a global pandemic!
We wanting into lockdown, I made all the bread and cinnamon rolls and quickly put on another 10 pounds. Thankfully, Cheryl continued with the HIIT101 class virtually in May and I was able to continue my journey at home. Participating in the HIIT101 virtual classes and changes to my diet I found success.
To find success with my diet, I knew I had to do things differently. I would always flip between ‘I want to look good and lose weight’ and ‘you only live once just eat what you want!’. Cheryl helped me find the balance between those two extremes and I ultimately was able to hit my health goals while still enjoying the less-nutritious food I love occasionally.
I continued with the online HIIT30 virtual classes until October when I came to the physical gym. The coaches and members were so welcoming and encouraging, it was easy to feel confident in the gym. I started with 3 days a week and just recently have been boxing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have gained so much self confidence and I’m enjoying activities I never had before. I went skiing for the first time, Im having skipping competitions with my 8-year-old, and winning 😉 and I’m looking forward to a TreeGo adventure this summer.
If you are starting for the first time or starting again for the 100th time (like me) take that “Before” picture. I didn’t because deep down I thought I was going to fail again, but I didn’t; and neither will you!
